Becoming Me - Wellbeing Evening
As part of our reboot for our Body Collection England brand, we are hosting a Wellness event here in Silsden for all colleagues and their family/friends. This event will kickstart our new BC campaign “Becoming Me” and we will be raising money to support our new affiliation with the cancer charity https://lookgoodfeelbetter.co.uk/
This amazing charity supports people who have had a cancer diagnosis and help them to manage both the physical and emotional side-effects of cancer treatment. They run free workshops both virtually and at Cancer Care Centres and Hospitals across the UK to support women, men and young adults through this time. Their workshops are led by trained volunteers in the beauty industry and provide practical advice about changes to skin, eyebrows, eyelashes, hair, nails and body confidence. They also run well-being focused workshops covering meditation, breathwork and gentle exercise to help reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety.
There will be various workshops and activities to get involved with on the day including:- nutrition, make up, hair styling, mindfulness, massage, yoga and many more.
We also have sponsorship from the British Beauty Council to be part of their British Beauty week, celebrating the ‘Power of Beauty’, and this event will appear in their direct PR and social. BRITISHBEAUTY WEEK : The British Beauty Council
